2003/ 2004 Funding Proposal

Funding Proposal 2003 -2004
Thanks to the generous donations of many people in Yellowknife, the United Way of Yellowknife has $30,000 to invest in the community.
We are seeking proposals from non-profit, charitable organizations involved in human services for three projects of up to $10,000 each.
Funds are available for new or to augment existing programs that reduce the effects of poverty on individuals and families. These funds can be used to cover any relevant program expenses.
Proposed programs must operate in Yellowknife, NDilo and/or Dettah.
To be eligible for funding, organizations must be a registered charity or be partnered with a charity. Organizations are encouraged to collaborate with one another to strengthen their proposals.
Funding decisions will be finalized and communicated no later than June 30, 2003.
Proposals can be mailed or dropped off.
Mailed proposals must be post-marked no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, May 30, 2003.
